What the Dickens? A Book Sale?

Bookworms, bibliophiles, fanatics of fine literature, plain book freaks – as well as having the chance to buy books from our participating authors, you will also be able to browse and buy from an eclectic selection of books at our second-hand book sale.

We aim to collect hundreds of books for the sale. So whether it’s Churchill’s memoirs, Shackleton’s voyages, Scuba Diving for Dummies, A Hundred Years of Solitude, Wuthering Heights or The House at Pooh Corner – delve and forage for your unwanted books of all genres and help us to reach our target of 500 titles. For every five books you donate, you’ll receive a voucher to spend on a book of your choice in the sale. All books will be priced at 1, 2 or 3€.

We’ll be posting regular updates to let you know how we’re doing with reaching the magic number… stay tuned.

Here’s how it will work:

> Sort through the books you have at home that you no longer wish to keep but that someone else might like to read.
> Let us know by email or phone how many books you’d like to donate (info@festilitt.com / 05 63 27 75 79).
> We will contact you a couple of weeks before the Festival to arrange for you to drop the books off at the library in Parisot.
> Tell everyone you know to follow the points above.
